There is a class for every child wishing to explore dance and drama.

Ballet

Ballet classes are available at all ages, and we welcome new dancers at any age. Our ballet classes are designed to teach poise, rhythm, artistry, control, coordination, musicality, and performance.

Contemporary

Contemporary dance combines the styles of ballet and modern, developing a more natural sense of movement.  Contemporary will encourage balance, coordination, flexibility, and strength.  This class may also serve as an additional class for those studying for their GCSE Dance examination.

Drama

Drama is a fun class which develops physical performance skills, speech and vocal technique building confidence, self esteem and enables children to work individually and in groups.

Modern

Modern Theatre dance is a highly energetic style of dance which is often seen on television and on stage in musical productions.  Modern dance steps include high kicks, leaps and turns as well as improving flexibility and strength complimented by the latest popular music being played.

Musical Theatre

Our musical theatre classes are similar to our modern classes; however, the focus is purely on musicals and the dances that have featured in musicals both past and present such as Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Chicago, Guys and Dolls.

Tap

Tap is a very popular style of dance where the dancer beats out different rhythms with their feet and tap shoes, tap is used extensively in musical theatre and over the years has become widely used in commercial dance.
